Founder & CEO
Carmelle, a passionate advocate for financial inclusion and economic development, is an experienced Finance and Business Leader in the Enterprise IT sector, with specializations in Financial Services and Blockchain Technologies. Carmelle founded EMTECH, a NYC-based Fintech, to help Central Banks around the world with adopting modern technologies to provide financial inclusion by design and develop resilient financial market infrastructures.
Carmelle is an experienced Finance and Business Leader in the Enterprise IT sector, with specializations in Financial Services and Blockchain Technologies.
For the last three years, Carmelle worked on Digital Currency technologies and strategies for the purpose of addressing financial inclusion and lowering the cost of cross-border payments. After a ten year career at IBM in Corporate Finance/Treasury and Software Business Development Executive, Carmelle is now a sought-after thought leader and innovator in financial services, central banking technology and blockchain with the mission of providing everyone access to a digital cash infrastructure.
Carmelle engages with Central Banks from Africa to the Caribbean to enable their transition to the digital currency era in an inclusive way. She earned her Executive MBA from New York University and was also named NYC Fintech Women’s Inspiring Fintech Females 2019.

Tunji has several years of extensive professional experience in delivering technology-enabled business transformation solutions for large financial service providers, financial system regulators, and FinTech startups across Africa. He led the FinTech practice in KPMG Nigeria towards the end of an 11-year career in the firm. He was a leader in the firm's Emerging Technology & Digital Transformation Consulting business, working across Africa as part of KPMG project teams.
Tunji has extensive knowledge capital on emerging technologies (Blockchain, AI/ML, Robotics, IoT) acquired from various local and off-shore training and hands-on experience in leading/managing several client projects across varied industries, including financial services, telecommunications and consumer markets. He has led several technology-enabled business transformation engagements/initiatives for clients, including digital strategy, IT strategy, omnichannel strategy & implementation, systems evaluation & selection, system design, process automation, core banking and digital channels transformation, cloud-based enterprise systems implementation, open banking implementation amongst others.
He has led projects consisting of multinational teams across the African continent, including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and 9 other countries in West, East & Central Africa. He has extensive business development skills and was at the heart of converting and executing some of the region's largest and most complex Technology Consulting engagements over the last 8 years.

Solomon has years of experience as business development lead with proficient design thinking capabilities. His expertise lies in developing and effectively adopting technological design solutions to fit existing and emerging problems. Solomon speciality is forecasting, project management and strategic planning within FinTech start-up ecosystems.
He holds Associate Degree in IT: Computer Networking and Telecommunications from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (Accra) as well as Associate in Business Administration from University of the People - Pasadena, CA, USA.

Durga’s expertise is in the area of support and management, relative to activities involving client service relationship, on-boarding, management, training, problem resolution and operational improvement. She has an extensive background in Delivery Management, supporting the tactical and strategic service needs of the clients. She has experience in managing large commercial accounts for leading organizations in a Global Delivery model. She is results driven in achieving higher levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring accountability for successful project delivery.
Durga is passionate about building productive working relationships with the customers, providing delivery excellence and solving complex business problems in collaboration with the team and the stakeholders. She believes in Continuous learning and adapting new technology innovations into the workspace.
She holds the Executive Education certificate from The Wharton School, Online program in Fintech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies, Masters of Science (M.S) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, from Nance College of Business, CSU, Ohio, USA and Bachelors of Engineering (B.E) Degree in Computer Science from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.

CHIEF RISK & POLICY OFFICER
During her 35-year career, her public sector work included serving at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and most recently at the US Treasury in the Office of Technical Assistance where she advised Central Banks. Her most recent postings include the Central Bank of Moldova, the Central Bank of Afghanistan and the Central Bank of Tunisia. Diane also served in risk and asset management roles at Morgan Stanley, Fortis, ABN AmroBank, Moody’s Investor Services, State Street Global Advisors, TD Securities. Diane’s career has taken her from managing risk in asset securitizations, to asset management, to counterparty credit risk, to derivatives, to stress testing and now into digital currency. Diane is a strategic risk professional whose experience with a broad range of risks enables her anticipate issues and mitigate them.
Diane’s thought leadership includes speaking engagements on Blockchain and Technology, Cyber, Big Data and Emerging Risks, Central Bank Risk Management, Stress Testing, and Operational Risk. She has published several articles on credit risk, mortgages and student lending. Diane has also authored/co-edited three financial technology books for Risk Books (London).
Diane serves as a volunteer board advisor to several non-profits including the Washington DC Value Tech Board, Nigeria’s COIN NEWS, the JC Kravit Foundation and the Community Development Board for North Beach San Francisco. Previous board positions include the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), Risk Management Association (RMA), SF Habitat for Humanity and the Paris Based Asset Backed Credit Research Institute.
She holds a BA in History from Salem State College, an MPA in Finance from Arizona State University, a MSc from the London School of Economics where she completed work for a Doctorate in financial services regulation. She holds two recent professional ISACA Certificates on Controls (COBIT) and Privacy (CDPSE).
